Woman with 21 babies and 16 nannies claims she is a ‘hands-on mum’ | World | News

Kristina, originally from Russia, and 57-year-old millionaire businessman Galip, from Turkey, had their first child together, via a surrogate, slightly over a year ago. Now, their family has expanded massively thanks to the help of numerous surrogates whom the couple have paid a total sum of £142,000 between March 2021 and July 2021.

“I’ve dreamed about this since childhood,” Kristina told Fabulous magazine. “My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action.”

In addition to their 21 surrogate babies, Kristina and Galip, who met in Georgia, also have two other kids living with them: Victoria, six, from Kristina’s previous relationship, and one of Galip’s nine older children.

In a recent Q&A in her Instagram account, @batumi_mama, Kristina shared what life looks like with 23 offspring under one roof, saying to her more than 61 thousand followers: “We usually feed the children in due time, and we have dinner together with my husband very late.

“On weekends, we eat together, spend time alone as much as possible, which is why Sunday is a day off on the blog, so that we can be just a family without prying eyes.”

Their 16 nannies work a rolling schedule of four days on, two days off, and all live in the family’s three-floor mansion, with bedrooms near the kids’ rooms and a kitchen where they can order food.

The eldest baby, Mustafa, is 19 months old and the youngest, Judy, three. Their siblings’ names are Mariam, Ayrin, Alisa, Hasan, Judi, Harper, Teresa, Huseyin, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Sara, Lokman, Galip and Olivia.

About the baby-nanny dynamic, Kristina said there are “no bindings”. While each nanny is “responsible for a specific child” during the day, since they get up at 6am until they go to bed at 8pm, “the nannies change” throughout the week. Mealtimes are apparently particularly hectic for everyone at home.

The young mother says she does “all the things that mums normally do” and that her six-year-old daughter loves playing with all her siblings as well as feeding them and reading for them.

The family currently uses 20 large packages of nappies and 53 packages of baby formula per week.

While they aren’t planning for more surrogate babies, she and Galip may have more kids naturally, meaning the size of their shopping basket could increase further.

She told The Sun in June: “I’m planning my pregnancy, but not straight away.

“For now, I need to be close with my babies.

“It’s hard to be a mum to 21 kids when you’re pregnant.”
