Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Fletcher may be known for being a member of McFly – but he certainly isn’t the only famous face in his star-studded family
Christmas dinner at the Fletcher’s house must be a who’s who of famous faces.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, who impressed on his return to the dance floor with pro partner Amy Dowden after a week out due to Covid, is part of a star-studded family.
Tom was the first to rise to fame as a member of much-loved noughties boyband McFly, banging out hits such as Five Colours In Her Hair, Star Girl and It’s All About You.
They became the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number one – taking the title from the Beatles with Room on the 3rd Floor.
Tom has written or co-written 10 UK number one singles, a number of children’s books and was part pf super group McBusted.
Now he’s part of a showbiz dynasty, so here’s a look at some of his famous relatives.

As well as being Tom’s sister, Carrie Hope Fletcher is an actress, singer and author.
Carrie was actually on our screens way before Tom as a child actor, appearing an advert for Honey Nut Cheerios with Kelsey Grammar and several short TV roles.
At the age of just nine she made her West End debut as Young Eponine in Les Miserables, later going on to play the older version of the character, becoming the only British actress to do so.
Carrie has also appeared in stage productions of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and is now starring in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella.
Tom’s talented sister has also written five novels and a book based on her life, a book called: All I Know Now: Wonderings and Reflections on Growing Up Gracefully, which was a Number 1 bestseller in the UK.
Recently, Tom shared a snap of the moment he told Carrie he was taiga part in this year’s Strictly and revealed she “just burst out laughing in my face”.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock then you’ll know Tom is married to Giovanna Fletcher.
The couple met when they were just 13 at Sylvia Young Theatre School, when Giovanna sat next to Tom in school assembly.
But they didn’t make it official until several years later in 2003, when they were 18.
The following year, Tom wrote his love a song for Valentine’s Day, All About You, which would go on to become a massive hit for his band McFly.
Tom married his childhood sweetheart in 2012 and they are parents to three boys, Buzz, Buddy and Max.
Now famous in her own right, Giovanna has risen to fame as a children’s author, presenter on the CBeebies Baby Club and as host of parenting podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby.
And Giovanna won all our hearts last year on I’m A Celebrity and was crowned the first ever Queen of the Castle.
The family also extends to the reality TV world as Tom’s brother-in-law is none other than Mario Falcone.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star is Giovanna’s younger brother, who appeared on the ITVBe show as a regular from 2011 to 2018.
During that time, we saw Mario’s engagement and split from Lucy Mecklenburgh and his bitter rivalry with Mark Wright.
TOWIE viewers got a shock back in 2012 when Tom popped up in an episode, as Mario went round to get some advice from his sister’s husband.
After leaving the Essex-based show, Mario appeared in the 2013 edition of Celebrity Big Brother, which was hosted by Giovanna and Tom’s close friend Emma Willis.
Mario is now engaged to Becky Miesner and the couple have a son, Parker Jax, who we frequently see on Instagram playing with his cousins.
