Scarlett Moffatt has been promoting body positivity and ‘normal bodies’ whilst she’s been away on holiday, but she’s faced trolling of her own
Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she gets “horrific” trolling about what she called her “boob gap”.
The former Googlebox star, 30, took to her Instagram Stories to urge people to “normalise boob gaps” as she is “at peace” with her body.
She is currently on holiday at the luxurious five-star Sandals Grande Antigua with her police constable boyfriend Scott Dobinson.
On her trip Scarlett has been posting a series of snaps to her social media encouraging people to embrace body positivity.
Scarlett shared a photo of herself wearing a low-cut jumpsuit as she pointed at her cleavage and pulled a grin for the camera.
She captioned one photo: “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let’s normalise boob gaps!!
“Some of comments I’ve received are horrific, but I don’t care because after years of struggling with self image I’m finally at a place where I want to shout from the roof tops: you are perfect just as you are!
“Let’s normalise the fact that everybody’s body is a beach body.”
Scarlett previously went from a size 18 to a size 8 in 8 for an exercise DVD she released in 2018.
But Scarlett said she wanted to put weight back on after the extreme loss because the 700 calorie diet was ‘detrimental’ to her mental health.
Scarlett recently posted a picture of herself in a bikini, saying it was the first time she’d worn one in five years.
The caption read: “This shouldn’t be a big deal but it is and I’m actually crying whilst writing this. It’s took me so many years to gain confidence with my body.
“I’ve let it down at times and missed out on holidays and nights out because I’ve not liked what I’ve seen in the mirror.
“But hey after 5 years of not daring to wear a bikini I’m actually doing it!
“So I hope this gives you the confidence to buy that dress, that bikini, not miss out just because your body doesn’t fit into a certain category (because let me tell you all these things are made up nobody is too slim, too curvy, too athletic, too many stretch marks, too much cellulite ) LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.”
