S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole is a completely different person with long grey hair

S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole looked completely different with long grey hair as he returned to social media.

After a year, the 44-year-old came back to Instagram to share a selfie with fans.

“Genie Hair #nofilter,” he captioned the photo of himself with long hair and a full beard.

Paul had his long hair tied up in a bun and donned reflective sunglasses and a simple white t-shirt.

Back in his heyday, the singer rocked dark shaggy hair and changed his hairstyles over the years.

However, fans and friends still took to the comment section to compliment the star on how good he looked.

“Still would,” one user wrote with a laughing emoji and a heart emoji.

Another commented: “Suits you!” while another joked: “GuruPaul. looks good man!”

He looks worlds away from his heyday

Back in 2018, Paul opened up about how he had to sell his BRIT Award on eBay to pay some of his bills.

The singer shocked fans when he put the gong for sale on the online bidding site, but he was the one left speechless when he managed to flog the award for a whopping £66,100.

Speaking to NME a few years ago, he revealed he has been struggling to find work after an accident during work on The Rocky Horror Picture Show left him with a permanent back injury.

Speaking about his plans for the money, Paul explained: “Just less than half of it will go on paying the bills. But what do you think I should spend the rest of it on?

“I’ve always wanted to record a covers album. I know it’s a cliché to do it, but the reason people do it is that they sell. It is something that does sell in the music industry these days.

He continued:“ I’ve actually always wanted to do a Motown album. Polydor bought the Motown back catalogue at the end of the ‘90s and they were our label, so I should ask if I can record some of them.”

Paul has now listed his Best British Single trophy which the band was awarded for Don’t Stop Movin’ back in 2002.

He tried signing up for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! but he apparently wasn’t “famous enough”.

Cattermole left the band in 2002 to form his own band Skua, and S Club 7 split the following year.
