Ring Energy (REI) Lags Q3 Earnings Estimates

Ring Energy (REI) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.07 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.09 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.05 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -22.22%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this independent oil and gas company would post earnings of $0.06 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.07, delivering a surprise of 16.67%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times.

Ring Energy, which belongs to the Zacks Oil and Gas – Exploration and Production – United States industry, posted revenues of $49.38 million for the quarter ended September 2021, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 31.65%.
