Rebel Wilson looks sleek and stylish as she hits LA shops for some retail therapy

Rebel Wilson, who has recently lost more than five stone, has been making the most of her time in Los Angeles with a trip to the shops.

Rebel Wilson was looking cool and casual as she hit Los Angeles for a spending spree.

The 41-year-old actress has been enjoying some downtime in the sunny California city, and after spending Saturday evening celebrating Halloween, she decided to unwind with a trip to the shops.

She looks sleek in a pair of black trousers and matching top, giving the outfit a pop of colour with a bright yellow jacket and black Valentino flats decorated with gold studs.

Finishing her look with a matching pair of sunglasses, the star kept covered up with a black face mask.

The actress has been on a complete glow-up over the past two years, focusing on her health with a new exercise regime that’s helped her shed 35kgs (five and a half stone).

Looking every inch the designer diva, Rebel was seen with her entourage as she hit the stores.

Her retail therapy efforts are a far cry away from our typical party cures, with the star spending the evening before at a large recreation of Squid Game packed with A-listers.

Among those joining her at the event, based around the Netflix smash, was director Taika Waititi, Paris Hilton, and Vas J Morgan.

The gang played Red Light, Green Light from the series, except without the killer twist of being shot when they were caught.

Rebel has recently opened up about her weight loss, which started in 2020 in what she dubbed at the time her “year of health”.

Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show about her accomplishments, she said: “I was going all around the world jet-setting everywhere and eating a ton of sugar. That was kind of my vice. I have a very sweet tooth, I love desserts.

“I think what I really suffered from was emotional eating and dealing with the stress of becoming famous internationally. There is a lot of stress that comes with it and I guess my way of dealing with it was just eating donuts.”

In another interview, she said while she has always been confident whatever her size, she noticed how people changed how they treated her after she lost weight.

She told Australia’s The Daily Telegraph : “I grew up not really trading on my looks, I was the personality girl.

“But after going through my whole health transformation last year, I’ve been in touch with this ‘inner siren.'”

The Pitch Perfect actress also hinted that the health kick was partly inspired by her desire to have a baby, currently undergoing a ‘fertility journey’.

“I’ve been going through a fertility journey for the past two years and I’m hoping at some point I may have a family of my own,” she explained to the publication.

“But it’s still a bit unclear whether that’ll be the case. I feel like it’s not over yet. It’s kind of an emotional roller-coaster. But I’ve been trying my best, so whatever will be, will be.”
