PlayStation Plus November 2021 free games: Great news for current PS4 and PS5 subs | Gaming | Entertainment

Each monthly release brings an in-depth debate, but there is some excellent news for PlayStation Plus November free games fans.

While not everyone will have been pleased with the list of titles released for PS4 and PS5 gamers to download, there are plenty who found what they were looking for.

For those enjoying Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, more good news has been shared by the development team.

A remaster of the original title, Amalur features reworked graphics, improved texture resolution, and new rendering features for lighting and shadows.

And unlike other projects, THQ also chose to revamp gameplay and make some fundamental improvements.

This meant changing around some of the mechanics concerning loot distribution and how creatures are placed in the world, along with providing a Very Hard difficulty level.

All this tinkering has also opened the door to new content being added to the game as part of a new DLC.

The Fatesworn expansion has been in the works for some time and the new content is something that starts directly where the main story finished.

This will make it the perfect gift for those finishing up the campaign and wanting more from the remastered title.

So far, we know that Fatesword will add a new area to the world, which shares some connections with the core of the story of Reckoning.

And the team behind November’s PS Plus free game has provided an important Fatesworm update for waiting subscribers.

A new message from the team has confirmed that while there have been some delays, the new Fatesword experience is entering its final stages of development, with a new message confirming to fans:

The official description for the new DLC reads: “t begins as a tear, a small gash in the fabric of reality, before widening into a gaseous purple maw emanating whispers. The hideous shriek of Niskaru will be the last thing you hear, as Chaos comes to Amalur.

“Across the land, unnatural rifts have begun to appear, filling the world with twisted spawns born from the Chaos Realm, a cursed domain, and a warped, inverted version of our own natural world. Some dared to enter these haunting portals only to find themselves hopelessly lost, prey to a labyrinth of tangled pathways, tainted magic, and ravenous beasts.

“Are these the end times? Regardless of scholarly opinion, one thing is true: The Fateless One’s resurrection ruptured the delicate barrier between the mortal world and Esharra, the realm of pure magic, home to gods and monsters. As the Crystal War winds to a close, Amalur, already in a state of great unrest, teeters on the brink of total Chaos. New threats have emerged in the west, deep in the snowy Eldrith Mountains, and there is only one who possesses the power to stop them.

The one thing to note is that while Amalur is free to download if you own PS Plus in November, this new DLC will not be free unless you bought the full game.
