Love Island couple Molly-Mae and Tommy were reportedly partying in London when their Manchester flat was targeted by an ‘experienced gang’
Love Island couple Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are reportedly the victims of an £800,000 burglary of their flat in Manchester.
The Mail Online has reported that the 22-year-old Pretty Little Thing creative director and the boxer, 21, were partying in London when their Manchester flat was targeted by an ‘experienced gang’.
A source told the publication that the couple’s flat in Hale was burgled at 10pm on Thursday 21 October and that a large quantity of goods were stolen.
They added that the pair were “extremely shaken” and that they would “never return” to the flat.
The Mirror has reached out to Molly-Mae and Tommy’s reps and Greater Manchester Police for comment.
A source told the publication: “It seems to be an experienced gang who know what they’re doing as they have had machinery and waited for Molly-Mae and Tommy to be away.”
The insider continued that the gang had “approached the property from the rear” and “smashed through their balcony windows” to gain access.
“They have stolen approx 800k worth of belongings leaving them with nothing left other than what they had on them in their suitcases in London on the night of event,” they added.
A rep for Molly-Mae told the news outlet: “Molly is doing well considering the circumstances. It has been a very distressing time but she is trying to be as positive as possible.”
A rep for Greater Manchester Police told the publication: “On Friday 22 October 2021 police received a report of a burglary at a property in the Hale Barns area…
“During the burglary a number of items were taken, including jewellery. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
It comes after Molly-Mae wore an eye-watering £180,000-worth designer jewellery during a lavish night out last week.
Spotted at her Beauty Works Christmas collection party launch, Molly-Mae looked stunning as she opted for a simple white outfit, paired with two statement Van Cleef & Arpels vintage alhambra necklaces – worth a whopping £7,550 each.
But it didn’t stop there, as she had £58,000 of jewellery on one wrist – including an eye-catching £40k white gold, 1.99 carat diamond Cartier band.
