The former The Only Way Is Essex star is welcoming her second bundle of joy with Coronation Street actor fiancé Ryan Thomas – announcing the news a year after arrival of first baby
Lucy Mecklenburgh has announced she and fiancé Ryan Thomas are expecting their second child together.
The 30-year-old former Towie star is already proud mum to a son named Roman who she and 37-year-old Ryan welcomed in March last year.
But the family of three will soon be a family of four as Lucy revealed she and Ryan are expecting baby number two.
Announcing the happy news via Instagram on Monday, Lucy declared: “Here we go again” alongside a number of heart-filled emojis.

The happy news comes a little over one year since Lucy and Ryan welcomed their son together – while the Corrie star also has a daughter named Scarlett from a past relationship.
Lucy shared a photo via Instagram Stories of her one-year-old son holding a sonogram of his future sibling as she broke the news.
Fans and followers have been sending words of excitement and celebration to Lucy and Ryan following their news.
Last month, Lucy revealed she and Ryan struggle to find things to talk about when they are left alone on date nights together.
Discussing how life has changed since they became parents, she told The Sun: “Life is different now – there’s more communication but less spontaneity.
“It’s a different dynamic, but it’s just as special, if not more so. We’ve become a really good team. But it’s hard [to make time for each other]. I still don’t think we’ve got that balance perfect, but we work on it.
“On our first night out after Roman was born, we just sat there going: ‘What the hell have we got to talk about?’ because we both were living through lockdown and our whole life was Roman, so we just started talking about him. When we had finished, we went: ‘What do we talk about now?’”
Earlier this year, Lucy and Ryan experienced every parents worst nightmare as they had to rush their son to hospital as he experienced breathing problems.
He was placed on a ventilator and now needs to carry an inhaler after doctors helped him in hospital.
Lucy told other parents about warning signs to look for while giving an update on the ordeal via social media.
She wrote: “Roman had a viral induced wheeze so a couple of times in the last 2 months he wakes up with a slight cold in the morning, he has a little wheeze by lunch time and by dinner time we are in A&E as he’s struggling to breathe as we can see his chest is sucking in & working really hard.
“We are usually out by the morning after the nebuliser, oxygen and steroids and monitoring over night.
“This time however he had a little wheeze at lunch time but no wheeze before bed and he seemed completely fine other than a snotty nose.”
