Lisa Rinna’s daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin had an accidental overdose from prescription pills, she has shared.

The 23-year-old model – who is in a relationship with Love Island’s Eyal Booker – has several health problems including Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, encephalitis and PANDAS.

And in a frank Instagram video shared on Tuesday evening, the star – whose father is actor Harry Hamlin – explained that having PANDAS – Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections – led to her having severe panic attacks and as a result, she visited a psychiatrist and was prescribed several medications.

Delilah explained that the prescription dosage was too high and led to her becoming “dependent on Xanax” – a short-acting tranquillizer that is most commonly used in short-term management of anxiety disorders – then she accidentally overdosed when mixing medications.

She told in the video: “He overprescribed me with one medication that one of my friends takes like 10 milligrams, and he gave me like 20 milligrams three times a day and then he gave me 3 milligrams of Xanax a day.

“So my body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two, I overdosed. I didn’t mean to at all. I overdosed on this one medication called propranolol. I took Benadryl with it and for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.”

“I wasn’t like a drug addict, but my body was dependent on it because of how much the doctor had prescribed me,” she added.

Delilah then opened up on voluntarily entered a rehab treatment centre in Arizona for several weeks, but explained that due to the symptoms from her other illnesses she was asked to leave as she was a “medical risk.”

“I actually just got back yesterday. I’m really sad because I thought this place was gonna be a place to cure me…and it would just be a place I could relax,” Delilah said.

“But unfortunately, I was a medical risk, so I was politely asked to leave after three weeks of being there. That was really hard for me, because in mind if I’m too sick for this place, I’m too sick for anywhere. How can I get better?”

She then asked her followers for support as she went on: “My family and I are struggling to figure out what to do, it’s an invisible illness. I can look perfectly fine and feel perfectly horrible.”

Under the post dedicated partner Eyal penned a sweet message to Delilah.

He wrote: “I love you & know you will get better. Day by day So proud of you for continuing to fight xxxx.”

The pair have been dating since May 2019 when Delilah sent Eyal- who shot to fame on the 2018 series of Love Island – a private message on Instagram.

“My girlfriend saw me on Love Island which is how we got together, so that worked really well!

“So, it’s been a crazy year, full of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t change it for the world,” he previously said.
