Britney has been celebrating her freedom, with her claiming it to be the “best day ever” when she was released from her conservatorship.

The pop star had been under the strict control of both her father Jamie Spears and co-conservators since 2008, which led to a long battle to regain control of her life.

On Friday, it was ruled by Judge Brenda Penny that the conservatorship should come to an end after her lawyer Mathew Rosengart asked the judge to end the conservatorship without a medical evaluation.

This gave Britney back control of her life after 13 years.

This means that Piece of Me crooner is now able to make her own financial, medical and personal decisions for the first time since 2008.

Fans gathered outside of the courtroom to show their support for the singer and a ‘Freedom Party’ was kicked off following the news.
