New HyperMotion feature comes to FIFA 22

According to apparent ‘leaks’ on social media today, Kylian Mbappe will miss out on a FIFA 22 TOTW 4 spot.

The FIFA 22 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) squad is set to be unveiled and released into packs at 18:00 BST on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. But ahead of the official unveiling, there have been various leaks on social media, with some big-name players reportedly set to miss out on a place in TOTW 4.

Despite scoring the winning goal in the UEFA Nations League final for France against Spain, the leaks suggest that Kylian Mbappe will not be included in TOTW 4, with one of Mbappe’s French teammates reportedly set to be included ahead of the forward, but this card could be very decent indeed with an upgrade.

Mbappe was included in Mirror Football’s TOTW 4 predictions, along with Netherlands striker Memphis Depay and Senegal forward Sadio Mane.

According to reliable FIFA content creator and trader @DonkTrading, Kylian Mbappe will not be included in the FUT 22 TOTW 4 lineup, with France defender Theo Hernandez reportedly set to be included instead.

Only one player from any one national or domestic side can be included in a TOTW lineup, so it looks like Mbappe will miss out on an in-form in TOTW 4.

But the leaks don’t stop there, with a few other players also reportedly confirmed by @DonkTrading.

  • Joško Gvardiol (RB Leipzig and Croatia)
  • Sadio Mane (Liverpool and Senegal)
  • Theo Hernandez (Real Madrid and France)
  • Riyad Mahrez (Man City and Algeria)
  • Hirving Lozano (PSV and Mexico)
  • Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich and Germany)

FIFA 22 Team of the Week 4 (TOTW 4) predictions

The FUT 22 TOTW 4 lineup will be picked on single performances only, so goals and assists are not added cumulatively within the TOTW period. Also, note that performances in domestic cup competitions do not count towards TOTW selection criteria.

Only one player from any one team can be included in a TOTW lineup, barring exceptional circumstances, such as international TOTW’s, that can include multiple players from one domestic team, but only one player from each international team.

Paris Saint-Germain and France star Kylian Mbappe is set to be included in the FUT 22 TOTW 4 squad, following his controversial winning goal for Les Blues against Spain in the UEFA Nations League final, a game in which they came from behind to win 2-1.

Also note that players included in either of the last two TOTW lineups are ineligible, as are players who have featured in a recent FUT 22 promo.

This is Mirror Football’s initial FUT 22 TOTW 4 prediction before the leaks emerged, so there is no guarantee that any players mentioned below will be included.

  • GK: Keylor Navas (Paris Saint-Germain and Costa Rica)
  • CB: Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil)
  • CB: Joško Gvardiol (RB Leipzig and Croatia)
  • LWB: Andy Robertson (Liverpool and Scotland)
  • CM: Thomas Partey (Arsenal and Ghana)
  • CAM: Sadio Mane (Liverpool and Senegal)
  • RW: Riyad Mahrez (Man City and Algeria)
  • LW: Jadon Sancho (Manchester United and England)
  • CF: Memphis Depay (FC Barcelona and the Netherlands)
  • CF: Ferran Torres (Manchester City and Spain)
  • ST: Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain and France)

As always, more than 11 players had good individual games over the weekend, so other players that could feature in TOTW 4 are Marcel Sabitzer, Jose Fonte, Luka Modric, Achraf Hakimi, Josip Ilicic, Ben Chilwell, Sam Johnstone, Scott McTominay, Lautaro Martinez, Callum Robinson and more.

The EA SPORTS FIFA Team of the Week is expected to be revealed and released into packs at 18:00 BST UK time every Wednesday throughout FUT 22.

FIFA 22 will be the latest game within EA’s popular FIFA video game franchise, which released worldwide on Friday, October 1, 2021. The game is available now on all platforms including Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia and PC.
