Sarah Jayne Dunn is best known for her role as Mandy Richardson in the hit Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, playing the troubled character on and off for the last 25 years.

The 40-year-old actress was recently given the boot by show bosses for joining the adult subscription website OnlyFans, much to the outcry of her fans.

Sarah has taken refuge amid the controversy in her swish home in Cheshire, which she shares with husband Jonathan Smith and their son Stanley.

The actress is a big fan of interiors, and her stylish home features quirky accessories, such as neon signs, bold wallpaper and velvet sofas.

She regularly shares pictures from her gorgeous home on an Instagram account dedicated to her and Jonathan’s home renovation, cheekily called @dunntheplaceup, and the abode includes plush soft furnishings, geometric carpets and statement prints.

The actress is a big fan of bold wallpaper, and has it in almost every room in the house

The couple began overhauling the property in November 2019 when they moved into their new family home, and her living room features floral wallpaper by Graham & Green, which retails for £65 a roll.

The bold walls are complemented by the green velvet couch and parquet flooring, while in the family room, Sarah opted for a more relaxed and comforting vibe, with cream walls and blush pink accessories.

Her kitchen is eye-catching, with emerald green subway-style tiles surrounding the worktops, and another bold floral wallpaper for the dining room wall.

Sarah and Jonathan chose a unique pink sign by Custom Neons to encapsulate their family, as it reads, “We’re all mad here” and is positioned in pride of place on the wall.

One of the bedrooms in her home includes an opulent teal velvet bed, offset by striking elephant wallpaper by Emma Shipley, blush pink furniture and a bold black radiator.

Sarah has designed an Hollywood-inspired dressing room, complete with a beauty mirror reminiscent of glamorous make-up studios, with bold lightbulbs surrounding the large mirror perched on her dressing table.

Meanwhile, the master bedroom contains a whopping kingsize grey velvet bed, with more statement wallpaper designed by Emma Shipley, and muted grey accessories to make it a relaxing place to wind down after a busy day.

Sarah has yet to issue a statement about her shock exit from Hollyoaks, shortly after she announced she had joined OnlyFans to take back control of her image.

The actress had been a regular contributor the adult website, and despite being warned by bosses her job was at risk, Sarah refused to quit, and was reportedly axed after she and executives at Lime Pictures, who produce the soap, failed to reach an agreement.

“We had hoped we could reach a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to remain in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue to produce content on OnlyFans,” they said.
