Katie Price’s eldest child, Harvey Price, lives away from home in a residential college – with her telling GMB viewers earlier this week that she visits every weekend
Katie Price has revealed that she “missing” her son Harvey Price already after taking him back to college earlier this week following the Christmas break.
The 43-year-old appeared alongside her 19-year-old son – who has a number of medical conditions – during an interview on ITV’s Good Morning Britain (GMB) yesterday.
During the segment, the former glamour model discussed her relationship with the teenanger – which is the subject of her latest book, titled Harvey and Me: A Mother’s Love.
And following the live broadcast, the reality TV star revealed her sadness at having dropped him back at college now that the festive period is over.
The I’m a Celebrity alum posted behind-the-scenes clips from their appearance on Instagram just hours after the GMB interview , which showed them preparing for it.
Alongside one of the videos, Katie wrote on the platform: “So dropped Harvey back to college today and miss him already.” She also included a heart emoji in the caption.
Harvey – whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, 50 – moved into National Star residential college in Cheltenham last year, where he currently has his own accommodation.
During the recent interview on GMB, Katie said that the residential college is around “three hours away” from her home which means she “can’t just pop in and see him.”
The mum-of-five however said that she visits her eldest child every weekend and the pair are understood to communicate via video chat in between her visits.
Discussing the experience, Katie said that he has been “learning numbers and independent skills,” with Harvey himself describing the college as “really great and fantastic.”
Katie later commented in the interview: “It’s a new place, new people around him and how he fits in with that.”
She said it’s “challenging” but staff are getting to know him, adding: “He’s not easy with his complex needs and behaviour.”
Harvey often features on Katie’s YouTube channel, with a recent video showing the mother and son making carrot cake together in his room at the residential college.
