Bob Saget’s eldest daughter Aubrey Saget has shared one of the final text messages she received from her father before he died
Comedian Bob Saget’s eldest daughter Aubrey has shared one of the last text messages she received from him before he died.
The 65-year-old star of The Full House passed away on Sunday, with staff at The Ritz-Carlton in Orlando finding his body at 5pm.
Aubrey, 34, posted the message from Bob on her Instagram Stories in a screenshot of the text.
The message from her father read: “Thank U. Love u. Showtime!”
It is believed that the message related to a show that he was putting on at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday night.
Bob had previously shared his excitement about that night and being back on stage after the coronavirus pandemic affected comedy gigs across the globe.
The comedian wrote just hours before passing away: “Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this s***. Peace out.”
His death was marked by the Saget family in a statement which they shared on Sunday night.
They told his fans: “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today.
“He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Bob had shared that he was feeling on top of the world after his first live show in many months and that he couldn’t wait to bring his show to many more venues.
He posted: “Okay, I loved tonight’s show in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity.
“Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences. Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening.
“I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.”
US media outlet TMZ has reported that the Orange County Sheriff’s said that they had “no information on cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”
