Celebrities with genius IQs who were top of their class at school

Who knew that the worlds of stardom and academic achievements would have such a prevalent crossover

Kesha clearly has a penchant for maths

We tend to think of the world of celebrity as being removed from the world of academic achievements and high IQs.

However, this is often not the case with some stars coming from backgrounds saturated with high level academic achievement and mathematical ability.

Recently, an old Kesha interview has been reshared on TikTok, in which she talks about how much she loves maths.

She says: “I used to really get off on math, like math makes me hot. Like I love it.”

Kesha has an impressive IQ of 140, receiving an SAT score of 1500, just shy of the perfect score of 1,600.

In the clips, she adds: “It’s kind of like solving mysteries, math problems. Sometimes when I get drunk I’ll talk to my guitar player and be like ‘give me a math problem’!”

These clips are helping to reignite the comments surrounding how many musicians, performers and celebrity personalities boast genius level IQs with many of them having also having an impressive mathematical background.

Here are some more celebrities that you might not realise possess multidimensional talents:

Lisa Kudrow

Although Lisa’s character on friends, Phoebe Buffay, is portrayed as lacking in common sense, in real life Lisa has an IQ of 154.

She graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Science before working with her father for eight years whilst trying to become an actress.

During this time, she earned a research credit for his study on the comparative likelihood of left-handed individuals developing cluster headaches.
