Britney Spears ‘ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears has shared rare pics of her grown up daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge.

The actress and singer hit the headlines in 2007 when it was confirmed she and then-boyfriend were expecting a baby together, as Jamie Lynn was just 16 at the time.

Despite facing intense criticism, and being accused of glamourising teenage pregnancy, the Zoey 101 star welcomed baby Maddie in June 2008, and has kept her daughter out of the limelight over the years.

On Sunday, the 30-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of her 13-year-old daughter, as the teenager attended her high school homecoming dance.

Wearing a bright green minidress with matching oversized blazer, Maddie’s face was obscured n the pictures by protective mum Jamie Lynn, but her followers were still bowled over by the teenager’s sense of style.

Maddie also posed with little sister Ivey

In one photo, Maddie is seen with her younger sister Ivey, three, as they walked around the garden, along with the teenager’s date, who was wearing a white suit and matching shoes.

“HOCO 2021, don’t worry, I also can’t believe my baby’s growing up and going to her first dance and doing all the things that make time zoom by and stand still all at the same time,” Jamie Lynn captioned the snaps.

Another photo sees Maddie posing with one of her friends, who is wearing a one-shouldered embellished pink mini dress, as they prepare for the big bash.

Maddie’s date was also featured in Jamie Lynn’s emotional post

Jamie Lynn also captured the sweet moment Maddie’s date put the corsage on her wrist, and in one snap, the teenager cuddles up to her grandmother Lynne Spears.

However, Jamie Lynn’s father Jamie Spears is missing from the pictures, as is her estranged sister Britney Spears.

Jamie Lynn split from baby daddy Casey in November 2010, and met businessman Jamie Watson in 2011, one year after the break-up.

They wed in 2014, and welcomed daughter Ivey in April 2018, and the couple live a relatively quiet life away from the limelight in Louisiana.

Back in 2017, Jamie Lynn had her world turned upside down when Maddie, then eight, was involved in a terrifying near-death accident.

The youngster was driving a quad bike near the family home when the vehicle flipped into a pond, trapping Maddie under the water.

Jamie Lynn and husband Jamie dove into the water to try and free her, but they were unable to without the help of paramedics, who arrived two minutes after the accident.

She was unresponsive when pulled out of the water and airlifted to hospital, where she was taken to intensive care.

Maddie subsequently made a miraculous recovery, and the incident prompted Jamie Lynn to reevaluate her life.

“I’ve faced my worst fear now. What else can I mess up or do wrong that will be as horrible as that? Nothing. There’s nothing,” she told Maria Menounos podcast Better Together in May last year.

“God gave me the blessing of giving me my daughter back. I lost her and I got her back,” she shared.
