Adele released her new album, 30, on November 21 and it’s already the fastest-selling record of 2021
Adele has admitted her son Angelo will probably hate a track on her new album – as he features in it.
The singing superstar wrote ‘My Little Love’ about the nine-year-old she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
It features touching snippets of recorded conservations between her and Angelo – and is Adele’s way of trying to explain to him why she divorced his dad.
Some of the most emotional comments include: “You know mummy doesn’t like anyone like I like you, right?”
The singing superstar goes on to say: “Mummy’s been having a lot of big feelings recently” and admits she is feeling “confused” and “like I don’t really know what I’m doing”.

In the lyrics to the heartfelt song she also apologises to Angelo for doing anything which has made him feel sad and tells him: “I love your dad because he gave you to me.”
Angelo is heard telling his mum: “I love you a million per cent” in another cute excerpt from the track which has already been listened to over 14million times on Spotify alone.
Speaking to Q with Tom Power, Adele said: “He’ll [Angelo] probably go through stages of hating it when he’s a teenager.
“But it was an important part of the puzzle. I was trying to figure out my life – not the album – so I had to include it.
“It sorted out some of the clutter that was going on in my ability to talk about how I was feeling.”
The Easy On Me singer revealed the conservations on the track were her way of being “clear and honest” with Angelo about how she was feeling.
“Imagine hearing that as a six-year-old. ‘What do you mean you don’t know what you’re doing?’ You panic, and your whole world would implode.”
She added: “I couldn’t hide from him. He could see me even clearer if I tried to hide from him.”
Adele released her new album, 30, earlier this month and it has already shot to the top of the charts in both the UK and the US.
Although it was only released on November 21, it is the top selling album of 2021 in America – and is likely to follow suit this side of the pond.
Last week fans were in awe as she performed a special concert in front of a celebrity audience for ITV ’s An Audience With Adele.
The 33-year-old singer took to the stage in her hometown of London in front of the likes of Idris Elba, Jodie Comer, Stormzy and Gareth Southgate.
Celebrity fans who really got into her performance included actresses Emma Watson and Emma Thompson, who were spotted dancing at the exclusive show.
But unfortunately Phil Schofield was seated in front of Boy George and his massive hat, so he didn’t get the best view.
He later poked fun at himself on Twitter, sharing a photo of Boy George in front of him at the bar with the caption: “Not again!”
